Tommy "Larry" Pitts Needs To Go

Tommy Tommy "Larry" Pitts, one of Lima's Three Stooges, is without a doubt the biggest baby on the City Council. At a meeting earlier this week, there was a reshuffling of committee positions, a not-so-uncommon occurrence. Upset with the changes, which were agreed upon by everyone except the other two Stooges (Ray "Moe" Magnus and Darry "Curley" Glenn). Pitts got up and left the meeting like a petulant child (Read the full story here.)

This kind of childish behavior is the exact reason why Pitts, a hate-filled racist who thinks every white person is a sheet-wearing member of the Ku Klux Klan, is never taken seriously. His claims of inequitable police treatment of blacks in relation to drug use only became a problem in his eyes when his sons were arrested, and later sent to prison, for drugs.

Pitts does not deserve the seat the voters in his ward gave him. Hopefully, his temper tantrum will lead to his resignation so a serious person can occupy that seat. The ward deserves a representative who has the maturity and intelligence to represent the needs of the whole ward, not just a subset.

Tommy, you took your ball and went home. Please don't come back

The citizens of his district gave Tom Pitts the vote for a reason.It sounds like the man should be in the seat,just from what we know of local actions against his part of the ward designated.Take a look in the mirror before you ask another to shut up or move on.I have over the years traveled through Ohio and in the Lima area.Your town is poverty stricken and depressed.Start with cleaning up your own yard and then help guys like Tom improve his life,lend a helping hand dont be a part of an on going problem.

Clearly, you've not really read or seen much about Tommy Pitts if you think he deserves his council seat. I just have to ask, HOW do you suggest people "help guys like Tom improve HIS life." Have a suggestion for yet ANOTHER free handout? This man should not need OUR help to "improve HIS life" if he is truly qualified to be on the council that runs an entire city.... and WHY should we have to help him fix his own life???? He has done nothing but use his council position to defend the criminal actions of his drug dealing sons and whine about how unfair the justice system is because HIS precious boys keep getting caught.

If you're going to dole out the advice, I'd suggest you send a note to Mr.Pitts and tell him how HE can help HIS boys because if he can't even fix the problems in his own family, how the hell do you think he has any business trying to "fix" the problems in his ward?
