It is in poor taste, but hardly the toughest thing heading his way. If I were running his campaign, I wouldn't comment on it.

Poor Obama, don't critisizes his views or policy on issues either or you must be a racist. Better toughen up Obama, you want to be the leader of the most powerful nation in the world, you will have a whole lot more things to face than a cartoon if you get the job....baby.

Obama needs to lighten up
Americans no longer have a sense of humor.
The cover of the New Yorker magazine for July 21 has this satirical work by artist Barry Blitt. The cover shows Democratic presidential candidate Barack Obama dressed as a Muslim and his wife as a terrorist. The magazine says the cover is meant to satirize the use of scare tactics and misinformation in the presidential election to derail Obama's campaign, but Obama's campaign called it "tasteless and offensive."
Lighten up!
If Obama wants to be president, he needs to laugh at things like this. Besides, the New Yorker has a point. This is how conservatives are trying to paint Obama.
People are too easily offended. However, today's political campaigns are tame compared to earlier races. Heck, look at all the things that were said of Thomas Jefferson when he ran for president. And the early political cartoons were downright meanspirited.
If Obama can't laugh at this, he certainly does not deserve the office.
