I think I alread told you how great you are...with tongue in cheek. However, you did an outstanding job with the videos. Most brought tears to my eyes, and few I actually cried and couldn't get through them. But, I eventually will.
There are a few songs that bring goosebumps and threaten tears each time I hear them. For a time, I worked in a nursing home. Our musical activities ALWAYS ended with a patriotic song. That's how the old folks do things. They always remember our country and what it stands for.
Today, most organizations end their programs with "God Bless the USA", or a like song. I used to know a karoake player who always ended his evening with "God Bless America". I hope our youth pick up on it. Many have. Today's soldiers, their wives and families are sacrificing every day. I always thank a soldier, and I thank the loved ones he or she left behind. When one soldier dies, a piece of all of us goes with him. Sometimes, we don't recognize it, but it's in everyone of us.
Thanks for the videos. I hope they get the attention they deserve.

While I'm at it, my son is in the ANG, and has been for nearly 15 years. He is dedicated to his service, and I am very proud of him. Over the past 8 years, he has been called to go to Iraq or Afghanistan several times. One time we had a surprise party planned. But, each time, something came up in the military to change the plans for him, so he hasn't been there, yet.
One time, the CO gave the names of the men and women who were to deploy. My son has 3 children, and many in his unit were single. A young woman, about 19 yrs. old, volunteered to go in his place, saying she felt it was better than my son be near his family. Of course, he declined the offer, as well as the CO, but my point is how loyal these soldiers are to our country and each other. And what a humbling experience it was for my son, who's experienced, to be offered such a gift from a young women, fresh in the ANG. She was offering to give up her life for his. What can be more patriotic than that?
